Wrenchable RG11 F-Connectors fit RG11 60% braid through RG11 quad-shield coaxial cable. Digicon pin-type "wrenchable" F connectors are applied using standard wrenches. A compression tool is not required. Digicon is a unique, trouble-free F-connector that enhances your ability to deliver flawless analog and digital RF communications. 360 degree conical compression completely seals the connector around the cable jacket for increased electrical and mechanical performance, secure weather-tight termination and enhanced pull-out strength. Digicon RG11 f-connectors include a unique machined brass sealing ring located in the final compression taper to create a permanent water barrier at the connector base. A lubricated internal O-ring prevents moisture migration at the mandrel nut. A large ferrule contact surface ensures a proper RF and digital interface. The free-spinning brass tin-plated body and nickel-plated nut provide superior corrosion resistance and durability. For a more firm grip and to provide a secure weather-tight connection at the port interface, the connector nut is 50 percent larger, 20 percent deeper, with 30 percent more threads. |
